The agency was started because Sam was sick and tired of the traditional digital agency model with their expensive offices, highest grade coffee machines, pool and table tennis tables, pricey team days and staff chatting on the internal comms all day (Slack / Skype).
That is not to say these are particularly bad things but these additional features all get billed and charged on the client retainers and create massive amounts of distraction in the workplace. There is then the issue of multiple people working across up to 12 client accounts with a designated account manager who usually doesn’t implement any of the work and this just brings in mediocre results.
Sam was also sick and tired of ‘digital gurus’, ’ninjas’ & ‘hackers’ who tarnish the industry with a bad brush, getting awful results for businesses and charging ridiculous amounts of money. These ’Ninja’s’ tend to be one-trick pony’s who know only one skill which has the industry develops doesn’t work after a few months…...
