Sam, who brings to the Codestone Group wealth a wealth of financial experience encompassing successes like the London 2012 Summer Olympics, plays a key role in driving Codestone’s future strategic priorities forward as it continues to expand, following the FPE Capital ‘FPE Fund II’ investment in March 2021.

Sam joins Codestone with over 25 years of experience in financial and business management, having most recently been a CFO at GLG Insights and before that JS Group for nearly 8 years. Prior to that, Sam’s extensive experience spans Finance Director roles at Lush and Capita, as well as other finance and accounting positions at Deloitte and British Steel.
During this exemplary career, Sam also headed Accounting Services for the London 2012 Summer Olympics. During his four years, he oversaw all financial operations leading up to the Olympics. Talking about his Olympics experience, Sam said: “The stakes were high as it was probably the only project with an immovable deadline day of the Opening Ceremony! The project had to be delivered on 24th July 2012.” He went fold Gold and achieved it, being awarded the prestigious Business Achievement Award, in recognition of delivering to budget and to time the London 2012 Olympics – a first for any Olympics in history.
