About the Founders
Adnan Tapia is the founder and CEO of Ploutus Advisors Inc, and has more than 30 years of real estate experience in private equity, acquisitions, development, capital markets and advisory. He is a graduate of Cornell University with a Master of Engineering, Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society graduate of Case Western Reserve University with an MBA, and a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Pune. Adnan is an MBA of the class of 1988 from Loyola Marymount University and a Licensed California Real Estate Broker, as well as a Lecturer at UCLA Extension, where he also co-managed the western U.S. operations for UrbanAmerica LP, an institutional urban real estate private equity firm, and held senior advisory positions at global firm Cushman & Wakefield, advising blue chip clients such as Sempra Energy, Alaska Airlines and Warner Bros.
Khursheed Sorabjee-Tapia is the founder and CEO of Ploutus Advisors Tax Corp, and has served in the tax, accounting and financial services sector since 1993. She is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and has a MBA from Case Western Reserve University. Khursheed's work experience has included foremost firms such as Deloitte & Touche (India and New York), ING Barings (Investment Banking), and ING Capital's Acquisition Finance Team in Los Angeles where she led more than $620 million in debt transactions and over $240 million in M&A transactions and private placements.
