A polymer engineer by education and an entrepreneur by choice, Soham made the audacious decision to walk away from a conventional 9-to-5 job within just 17 days of joining, diving headfirst into the uncertainty and opportunity of entrepreneurship.
Today, Soham is the Managing Director & CEO of EarthImpact Innovations Pvt. Ltd., a startup committed to building non-toxic, sustainable, and circular feminine wellness solutions. The venture is currently incubated at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP), pre-incubated at AIC IIIT Kottayam, Wadhwani Foundation, AIC Nitte; and has been recognized as top 7% of startups in WTFunds by Nikhil Kamath.
Soham’s journey is anything but conventional. His entrepreneurial instincts emerged early: during his college years, he founded and executed three startups—including Dante Lifestyle, Neapolitan Pizza Co. (as Chief Marketing Officer), and Aksher Graphics. With an ability to blend creativity with strategy, his consulting inputs have sharpened business models and brand identities across multiple early-stage ventures.
He was funded as NIDHI Entrepreneur-in-Residence Grant by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) at IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP), and he has presented at high-profile platforms like the Himalayan Startup Trek at IIT Mandi and the 127th National Startup Expo by Franchise India. Soham has also conducted research at IITs and Institutes of National Importance (INIs), and was recognized as a Child Scientist by the National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) during his schooling.
Beyond startups, Soham contributes to grassroots development through his involvement with Gramyajan Seva Trust, a non-profit organization that focuses on providing education, healthcare, and livelihood support to the underprivileged communities living in the rural areas of India.
