Katapy technologies are proud to announce its first global broadcast merging tape to live – and truly live into one seamless signal for its client Dieu TV, an international religious channel. The live event in Africa aired at 3 pm Paris time.
Stuart Bishop, Katapy’s CEO stated, “The signal was sent via 4G communications to Katapy in Nashville, where we seamlessly transitioned from their tape to live content, to the live event, and then back to the tape to live content as part of their 24x7 daily broadcast schedule. This signal was then syndicated via satellite all over Africa, to their local carriers in Switzerland via OTA broadcast, and also to their Roku, FireTV, iOS, and Android apps. The final reach was over 40M via all platforms.
