Dr. Zamora-Legoff holds a background in Chemistry and Biology from Southwestern University and earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine in 2014. Early in his career, he completed a research fellowship in rheumatology and immunology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester (2015–2016), where he contributed to studies focused on autoimmune disease, interstitial lung disease, and medication utilization patterns.

He went on to complete his internal medicine residency and internship at UT Rio Grande Valley and Valley Baptist Medical Center between 2017 and 2020, where he further developed his clinical expertise in internal medicine and complex patient care management.

In addition to his clinical and administrative responsibilities, Dr. Zamora-Legoff maintains an active academic and research portfolio. His published work appears in peer-reviewed journals such as Clinical RheumatologyRheumatology (Oxford), and Arthritis & Rheumatism. His research interests include rheumatologic diseases, interstitial lung disease outcomes, and opioid utilization patterns.
