When the economics do not justify the trip, drivers may decline the request, leaving riders facing longer waits and, in some cases, concerns about missing flights or becoming stranded.
Ivosia's model puts successful trip completion and sustainable driver earnings ahead of maximizing platform margin. The company's standard driver payout is 90% of the eligible trip fare, with selected trips paying up to 97%. Ivosia may accept a smaller platform margin on certain trips to help keep the rider's price competitive while making the driver's offer worthwhile. Taxes, tips, tolls, regulatory assessments, processing fees and other pass-through items may be treated separately, and no single fare is guaranteed to be the lowest in every market.
Ivosia is also seeing strong growth in driver interest across Southwest Florida, with driver sign-ups accelerating as the company continues building its local network. Many applicants have experience driving on other rideshare platforms and are exploring Ivosia's driver-focused model. Behind the rider experience is a technology platform developed by Ivosia's San Francisco engineering team. Rider and driver modes operate in one app through a shared trip, identity, communication and safety system. Ivosia's proprietary intelligence is integrated directly into the platform rather than added through a generic third-party chatbot. Riders can use intelligent assistance to discover destinations, such as highly rated restaurants, while drivers can identify areas showing stronger demand and earning potential.
