ABOUT LAYCON
Olamilekan Agbeleshebioba Massoud Al Khalifah aka Laycon is a Lagos born and bred artiste who recently signed to Fierce Nation entertainment.
Laycon started out his musical journey very early, developing his art from Secondary school. He got introduced to Hiphop and rap music and later on crossed over to other genres of music. He says about his musical style "I diversify my creativity as much as I can and strive to get more versatile. I can rap and I can sing. I also play some music instruments so I’m a mixture of everything"
Laycon has graced the stage of several events with his strong, energetic performances. One of the ten artists chosen to perform for Unilag at the 2014 Coke Studio Unilag event and a top ten finalists of the 2017 MTV Base LSB challenge, Laycon has experience in wooing crowds. Just ask anyone that was at the Nelson Jack Tour at Mushin in 2016 or any of the Beat Fm NYSC concert events that he performed.
Laycon has a very varied and distinct taste in music that translates to his art. His musical influences include artistes like Nina Simone, Jay z, James Brown, Andre 3000, Micheal Jackson, King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Yussuf Olatunji, Nneka, Gino and IK Dairo.
Laycon's consistency and creativity were noticed by several record labels and in late 2018 he signed to Fierce Nation, a budding record label known for their positive work with several young, talented Nigerian creatives.
He released his first body of work in 2012 and put out another mixtape in 2013 titled CONspiracy. In 2016 he released the Young Black And Gifted EP (YBAG) Which was met with very positive reviews from critics. He is currently working on several projects, collaborating with producers (Lussh, Echo, Beat by Que, Finito, Tytanium, Saszy Afroshii) and artistes (Reminisce, Chinko, Deshinor, MVP, YungAce, Brainee, Scarr, Terry Apala).
Laycon has been putting out a weekly visual project, titled 'Any given Monday' which compliments his first label single release 'Fierce' featuring Chinko Ekun & Reminisce. 'Fierce' is available for streaming/download on all major local and international platforms.

Runnjozzy (real name Joshua Dasabah Peremobowei) is 19-year-old Afro-Pop singer and songwriters who hail from Bayelsa State but born and bred in Lagos, Nigeria. This young music chap, who has dazzled all in the past with a penchant for good music, has constantly shown why he is highly revered amongst Nigeria’s emerging young music stars and "Folashade" is another testament to his unmissable musical prowess.
