Los Angeles, California May 13, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - Horror in Color’s 4th Annual Pride or Die returns to Media Pollution’s Los Angeles studio with expanded programming for a one-of-a-kind celebration of Horror and LGBTQIA2s+ identity.
On Saturday, May 25th from 6 pm - 10:30 pm, Horror in Color invites everyone to show off their killer style at their annual free festival of Horror and LGBTQIA2S+ identity: Pride or Die. This evening spectacle will be a scream with live performances, a Queer-owned Horror marketplace, Media Pollution’s world-famous installations, live podcast recordings, photo ops, free HIV testing, voter registration, and more hosted by DJ Succubus. Vendors include Black Magic Cakery, Frightful Fox Productions, and Caffeinated Coven Co.
Mouth-watering Filipino barbecue from Rice & BBQ will be available as well as refreshing mocktails from Beautiful Poisons.
Pride or Die’s Somos LOUD LA Stage has a lineup jam-packed with live entertainment including iHeart Media’s Black Fat Femme podcast, Three Brown Jotos featuring Shudder's Dragula star Satanna, and Afro Horror. Discussion topics will range from the latest Horror news to representation within the film industry. Guests will also be treated to electrifying performances from viral drag artists Honey Ma and Major. Musician Me The Machine will debut a new song co-produced by "Silent Hill" composer Akira Yamaoka.
Filmmaker Sadé Sellers will be showcasing her short "Picture," starring Danielle Jalade from Disney’s "Saturdays."
