New York City, New York Jun 8, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Dr. Darlene Espinosa was born and raised in south Texas. She attended Texas A & M University and received a B.S. in Nutritional Science. She then attended medical school at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and earned her medical doctorate at New York Medical College.
Dr. Espinosa completed a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. She entered Family Medicine because she believes that she can interact on a more personal level with patients. With the field of medicine becomes more complex and technological, she was looking for a specialty that believes as she does: a patient needs to be treated as an individual and not as a disease. The field allows her to see a diverse group of patients. Her family moved to Rancho Cucamonga/Upland area 10 years ago. She is board certified in Family Medicine and a strong advocate for women’s health and preventative medicine. She is currently working at Edge Family Medicine, serving Upland and surrounding communities.
