“I didn’t want to just put one logo and design on a t-shirt and call it designer,” Khaiyon said. “I wanted to have a wide range of unique streetwear. Clothing that’s not just identified by a logo but by the way the clothes feel and the designs that stand out from other brands. Saint Eighth, with its new legs, is still small. The business sells direct through its website in addition to pop-up shops in places such as Philadelphia, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Italy. Khaiyon would prefer distribution to be well controlled, with a focus mostly online until the business expands.
