Roma Entrepreneurship Development Initiative (REDI) and its Balkan Impact Network have announced a strategic partnership with 360Disruption, a UAE-based health innovation commercialisation platform. The collaboration will establish a structured innovation corridor connecting Southeast Europe to the United Arab Emirates, with pathways extending further into GCC and African markets.
Through the partnership, REDI’s Balkan Impact Network will identify, vet, and introduce high-potential health-tech startups and scale-ups from across the region, support incubation and co-development programmes tailored to the UAE market requirements, and facilitate innovation delegations that give Balkan companies direct access to UAE-based commercialisation pathways.
360Disruption will act as the execution partner on the ground, providing market entry structuring, regulatory navigation, industrialisation pathways including local manufacturing and software development, and access to regional distribution networks across the GCC and emerging markets.
The initiative goes beyond market entry. It supports companies in establishing a full local presence in the UAE, covering licensing, operational setup, and, where applicable, manufacturing and development capabilities. Target sectors include advanced diagnostics, AI-driven healthcare solutions, medical technologies, and longevity and regenerative health. The ambition is to drive job creation, technology transfer, and the development of a high-value healthcare ecosystem aligned with UAE national priorities such as Make It in the Emirates and In-Country Value (ICV) objectives.
