Santa Fe, New Mexico Feb 21, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - After one of the deadliest years on record and in the face of the rise of extremism including the recent Israeli election, three young women from Israel and Palestine remain committed to peacemaking and coexistence and are determined to make their voices heard.

Join Jenan, a Palestinian from the West Bank; Tamar, a Jewish Israeli; and Shams, an Arab Israeli, as they travel across the United States, as part of Tomorrow’s Women’s Young Leader Speaking Tour. These three young changemakers will engage with U.S. audiences of all ages and backgrounds, sharing their powerful, often heartbreaking journeys and speaking out against the unending conflict - at venues in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York. United by their shared quest for peace, justice, and equality, these young women will speak at synagogues, high schools, youth organizations, leading universities including Stanford and UCLA, public spaces, and private homes offering an inspiring alternative to the wave of radicalization sweeping the region and a glimpse at, the powerful role young women can play in the peace movement.
Their final stop will be at the United Nations in New York City. Jenan, Tamar, and Shams will speak at the NGO CSW67 Forum, an advocacy platform for the empowerment of women and girls held in conjunction with the UN’s Commission on the Status of Women’s annual two-week summit.

About Tomorrow’s Women
Founded in 2003 after the second Intifada, Tomorrow’s Women (TW) trains young women (15-29) from Palestine, Israel, and the United States to be strong, compassionate leaders who partner to resolve conflicts and inspire action that promotes equality, peace, and justice for all. TW’s proprietary model for Compassionate Dialogue draws from the work of the Compassionate Listening Project, founded by Leah Green and the late Quaker activist Gene Knudsen-Hoffman. We are the only cross-border organization in the region focused solely on young women in Israel/West Bank/Gaza.
