London, United Kingdom Mar 3, 2020 (Issuewire.com)  - In Pearls on a String: (Love Songs) Volume 1, writer Rea-Silvia Costin, P.E details her personal growth and paints a picture of how she transformed from a budding writer into a fully bloomed poet.

Pearls on a String: (Love Songs) has three volumes. The first one looks inside the life of Rea. It also shows how she perceives and reacts to her own personal struggles. On the other hand, the second volume focuses on the external world of the author. She has applied her insights and understanding of human emotions – which she has perfectly described in Volume 1 – to the people surrounding her and events happening around her. Volume 3 is yet to be published. Rea turns to poetry writing to express profound feelings waiting to burst within her, to share her philosophy and understanding of life, and to give testaments of her faith in God.

“The need to write came into my life unexpectedly and with such force that it left me no choice but to follow,” says Rea. She has responded to this persistent calling by writing her first book, Short Stories: The Story of a Refugee, which was later published in 1997. Six years later, Rea took the challenge of becoming a novelist. In 2003, she released her debut novel, the first book of a trilogy, Thiana: Avdela – A Macedonian Village in Northwestern Greece – Thiana’s Native Land. The second book of the trilogy, Athens, followed a year later. Not long after, she published the third and final volume of her trilogy, entitled, America - The Final Destination. Rea is also the recipient of Editor’s Choice Award in 2002, 2003, and 2005. Moreover, she was also awarded the President’s Award for Excellence in Literature from the National Authors Registry. To top it all, she is also a professional engineer.

Rea’s work will be exhibited at the London Book Fair 2020, to be held at Olympia, London this coming March 10-12 at the Authors Press booth 1E38. You may meet the author personally at our booth starting at 10:00 a.m. on the 12th of March.
