This is the first book written by William Vance, a professional scout and a worker in the Big Brothers of America association. Released in October 2020, the book’s narrative is intense and emotional as the story unfolds. Unusual Love will be seen at the 59th edition of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the world’s biggest publishing event held in Italy.

William and Cynthia married each other soon after meeting; however, the marital bliss is changed forever after a devastating car accident that leads to significant memory loss for Cynthia. The author also shares his pain and grief when Cynthia’s sister decided to take her and move away from their home in Pennsylvania.
“Our connection was instant. It was like we had known each other for a long time. I was going through a tough time with my divorce, and she was too facing severe family issues and a divorce. Our conversations were intimate and honest, and I think that is what drove us to each other,” said William while talking about his book.
