Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Mar 29, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Western Flyer Xpress Chief Executive Officer, Randy Timms, has WFX running full speed as the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly increased truckload demand for all essential goods across America.
Beginning Saturday, March 21, 2020, Timms stepped away from the Oklahoma City-based headquarters and stepped into the driver’s seat of a WFX Peterbilt, alongside his team of 1,000 WFX Drivers and Contractors to serve the nation in an unprecedented time of need.
“The demand for trucks is growing by the hour. It’s important, in this time of crisis, for our Drivers and Contractors to know the entire WFX team is behind them as we execute. We couldn’t be more appreciative of them and their incredibly important role in supporting America.”, said Timms. “It’s been a pleasure being on the road alongside all my fellow drivers who are serving the nation during this crisis.”
Timms has completed over 3,500 miles since Saturday, delivering groceries to out of stock grocery stores all over Oklahoma.
