Sydney, New South Wales Feb 15, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Hearsay - The Legal Podcast is created by a team of lawyers and legal advisors. Our team consists of some remarkable names in the legal field. They are qualified and their podcasts are a game changer for new lawyers who seek to enter this field. Hearsay is concerned about the lawyers who join us. We aim to provide a learning environment to whoever joins us, let it be students or professional lawyers.
Continuing Professional Development, known as CPD, is an abstruse term for most people. We use this term to describe the learning activities many professionals engage in each field to develop and enhance their abilities. CPD refers to the commitment of professionals towards the enhancement of personal skills and efficiency throughout their careers. For lawyers, there are lawyer CPD points that we give them on the basis of self-assessment.
This development for professionals enables them to have CPD points that can be beneficial. Lawyers can earn law CPD points by enhancing their skills and attributes. They can do so by listening to our legal podcasts or attending our module lessons. As basic as they may sound, their effect on your career is very strong. The best minds in the legal world have built these podcasts and e-learning modules. This will help you to get your lawyer CPD points.
Lawyers have to meet a condition to claim one or all lawyer CPD points in a year. There may be some restrictions elsewhere, but there is none in Hearsay. Here lawyers can claim all lawyers' CPD points from one service. They can claim five lawyer CPD points in a year from audio material. To claim the rest of the lawyer CPD points, you must also interact with more material on our website. All the audio material includes legal podcasts done by industry intellectuals and experts in the field.
Lawyers must complete at least 10 legal CPD units each year and must earn at least a minimum of units from each of the following three mandatory fields: -
- Practical legal ethics.
- Practice management and business skills,
- Professional skills, and
- Substantial law.
It is mandatory for each lawyer to complete at least one CPD unit every continuing learning education (CLE) year in the above-mentioned fields. A disrespect to this law will result in deduction or removal of lawyers' CPD points to the lawyer.
The legal podcasts available on our platform are responsible for only half of the fun! Once people listen to the content, they can engage with episode materials and test their knowledge using our e-learning modules. This step is very important for lawyers who want to claim their law CPD points on Hearsay.
The e-learning modules have questions that lawyers need to answer. This helps in two big ways to the lawyers. First, it is responsible for the betterment of the person, and second, lawyers get their lawyer CPD points hearing to our legal podcasts and answering questions in our e-modules. It is more like a quiz. You can listen to our legal podcasts or watch the modules on the go and from your smartphone. How easy is this?
These requirements apply to all Australian lawyers. It is set out in the Legal Profession Uniform Continuing Professional Development (Solicitors) Rules, 2015. We abide by the rules and regulations do the necessary things for the lawyers to achieve lawyers' CPD points easily and efficiently.
