Lawyers must complete at least 10 legal CPD units each year and must earn at least a minimum of units from each of the following three mandatory fields: -

- Practice management and business skills,
- Professional skills, and
- Substantial law.
It is mandatory for each lawyer to complete at least one CPD unit every continuing learning education (CLE) year in the above-mentioned fields. A disrespect to this law will result in deduction or removal of lawyers' CPD points to the lawyer.
