Leeds, Alabama Jan 20, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - VW Family coming together across social status, religion, ethnicity, family, and groups. We are all eager to help our fellow colleagues in times of crisis. As a strong global community, we have all been impacted one way or another by this current worldwide pandemic. We must continue to do our civic duties to support and help each other during such hard times. Our VW Groups from around the world have come together on many occasions to assist our comrades with:
- Basic needs
- Dropping off meals for families
- Virtual exchange – GoFundMe Page
- Virtual exchange via the Facebook fundraiser
- Gift card for a grocery store
- Bouquet of Flowers
- Researching aid location and providing resource information
- Helping with job search- referral even if you work in entirely different fields, you can lend your expertise to help your friends, but offer skills rather than general assistance.
Luckily, there are many ways to show we value each other, even when things are hard.
Jack Blodgett is such a generous person and an astute member of the VW community, originally from San Bernardino, California, USA area. He has helped many of us nationally and internationally during his career at Blodgett’s VW Automotive alongside his father, Stacey Blodgett. Jack has fallen ill and resides in Leeds, Alabama, USA, with his loving family. Let us come together virtually and with proper social distancing methods set forth to help Jack Blodgett get back on his feet with basic needs so he can continue to support his wife, @Tracy Oliver Blodgett, and son, Jace Blodgett.
