Inspired by luxury automotive designs, the QX8 has a black matt paint finish on the front grille giving it a very progressive and premium look. Not only is the QX8 compact, but it offers a super low-profile stance once mounted onto the front windshield. The QX8 is also available with a genuine design cover giving buyers the option to make their dashcam installation cleaner with a hidden wire finish. The recommended retail price of the QX8 base model starts at $199.
The QX8 shares its KYS (Kombi-Ypsilon-Struktur) platform with the UX9 4K but is built with a 2.5K Quad-HD CMOS sensor at the front enabling a smooth recording frame rate of 60 FPS in one channel mode. The Quad-HD image sensor is a 2.5K back-illuminated (BSI) sensor enabling optimal image quality in visible light and near-infrared (IR) light regions.
All VUGERA dashcams are supplied with Samsung Electronics' micro-SD card featuring the latest V6-NAND technology ensuring high endurance in high-temperature operations and long-term reliability.
In the digital era of the display, the QX8 features a 2.7-inch IPS-LCD with a premium window touch screen for quick access to the footage as well as Wi-Fi connectivity for Android and iOS device users. Hyper-lapse recording mode can be used while driving and during parking mode for longer recording times. The QX8 also features an Ultra-Low Power Mode (ULPM) for maximum energy savings when leaving the dashcam on stand-by during long Parking Mode requirements.
VUGERA is showcasing the QX8 as well as the Lexus’ world 1st 4-year warranty (OEM) dashcam developed by VUGERA at the 2022 SEMA show. Deliveries of the QX8 will begin in early 2023.
