The SOC 2 Type II certification ensures compliance with the leading industry standards for managing enterprise data. The audit was performed by AARC-360, an independent auditing firm, under the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 18 (AT-C section 205, Examination Engagements) of the AICPA.
In order to obtain this SOC 2 Type II certification, Virima carried out an extensive and comprehensive auditing process of internal control policies and system-level operations against the five trust services criteria outlined in the AICPA Trust Services Criteria: Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.
The audit successfully reviewed Virima's IT infrastructure capabilities, change management practices, network security, risk mitigation policies, environmental security, system operations, logical and physical access controls, and commitment to integrity and ethical values.
In addition, the SOC 2 Type II certification validates procedures, internal processes, and controls designed by Virima to ensure its unique data processing systems' confidentiality, integrity, and availability comply with applicable trust services criteria.
