Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh Jun 6, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Vikrant University successfully organized the International Conference on Advances in Data Computing and Systems (ICADCS–2026) on May 23–24, 2026, bringing together researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and innovators from across India and several countries abroad. Conducted in hybrid mode, the conference featured both online and offline participation, enabling global academic engagement and collaboration.
The conference was organized with technical support from IEEE MP Section and IETE, and was sponsored by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology. The event focused on emerging areas including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Intelligent Systems, Smart Manufacturing, and sustainable technologies.
ICADCS–2026 received an impressive 1,343 research paper submissions from countries including South Korea, Switzerland, the United States, Uzbekistan, the Philippines, and several others. After a rigorous peer-review process to ensure originality and academic quality, 359 papers were accepted, recording an acceptance rate of approximately 14.67 percent. Out of these, 197 papers were registered for presentation and publication.
The conference featured keynote addresses and expert sessions by distinguished academicians and researchers, including Assoc. Prof. Christian Enoval from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Dr. Sanjeev Patjoshi, IPS and Former Director General of Police, Fire Services and Disaster Management, Government of Kerala, Dr. Somesh Kumar, Prof. (Dr.) Priyanka Kaushik, and Dr. Ashish Kumar Singhal.
Speaking during the inaugural session, Dr. Sanjeev Patjoshi highlighted the growing importance of cyber resilience, digital governance, and preparedness in an increasingly technology-driven world. Experts at the conference emphasized the role of interdisciplinary research and innovation in addressing real-world challenges and building sustainable technological solutions.
More than 150 reviewers and 23 session chairs contributed to the successful execution of the conference proceedings and technical sessions. Participants from academic institutions, research organizations, and industries actively engaged in discussions, presentations, and collaborative interactions throughout the two-day event.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Dr. G. S. Tomar, Chairperson of IEEE MP Section, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he appreciated the quality of research contributions presented during the conference and congratulated the organizing committee for successfully conducting the international event.
Officials stated that ICADCS–2026 served as a significant platform for promoting global research collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange in rapidly evolving technological domains.
