Queen Qarla, a tarot reader in YouTube shared, "I saw an uptick of viewers when the pandemic hit last year." She adds, "people have been searching for answers. The pandemic was unusual for all of us. They're curious. Or bored? Or amused. I'm not sure!"
In 2020, months after the Philippines imposed several lockdowns, Queen Qarla has decided to put her free time into writing a book.
"I've been helping my friends manage their mental health during the pandemic. They know I can read tarot cards and do astrology."
She added, "and so I've decided to write a book. From Aries to Pisces, this will try to help anyone rediscover their true self by looking at the stars."
Astrology content has been getting traction since the pandemic. Many believe that the sudden changes of the world we live in have forced many to find answers in unconventional places.
"Many still fear the tarot, so as to up to astrology. When I talk to newbies, or those not familiar with the tarot and zodiac, I tell them that they're just guides. Let's just say, helpful guides. Take what resonates. We still have free will. It's up to you if you're going to follow it," she explained.
