Tamil feature film, Tractor, directed by Ramesh Yanthra and produced by Jayanthan V of Friday Entertainment, has been officially selected to screen at the prestigious 48th Mostra – São Paulo International Film Festival, taking place in Brazil from 17th October to 30th October 2024
Tractor will be featured in the India Focus | New Directors Competition category, an esteemed section highlighting emerging voices in Indian cinema. This year, the festival is placing a special spotlight on Indian films, with a retrospective dedicated to legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray, whose iconic artistry is showcased on the festival’s official poster.
The Focus India section is bringing together a diverse range of Indian productions from both established filmmakers and new voices. Celebrated Indian directors like Satyajit Ray and Adoor Gopalakrishnan have been showcased in previous editions, alongside international auteurs like Jafar Panahi, Abbas Kiarostami, and Quentin Tarantino.
