New Delhi, Delhi Jul 20, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. It was founded by Ralph C Smedley on October 22, 1924, and is headquartered in Colorado, United States.
Just like every year, District 41 of Toastmasters International conducted its TLI (Toastmasters Leadership Institute) on 18th July. District 41 is the largest District in the world comprising more than 300 clubs across Northern India, Nepal, Bhutan & Bangladesh. This time it was organized by a cluster of four Divisions of District 41 namely Division C, E, G & U. In the words of Division E Director, TM Kashish Gupta, "It was the biggest TLI that the District has ever witnessed with 400+ registrations." The event's main attraction was the thoughtful message of the District Director, Ranjit Acharya who opened the Training session on an inspirational note. The Program Quality Director, Ankur Yadav ended the meeting on an energetic note by explaining to the audience how craziness and creativity, when blended in the right amount can lead to the path of success.
The Organization’s membership exceeds 3,64,000 in more than 16,200+ clubs in 145 countries. Toastmasters International, over the years, has helped people from diverse backgrounds to become efficient Communicators, confident Speakers, and dynamic Leaders.
Every meeting of Toastmasters is structured in such a way that a member not only gets an opportunity to overcome their fear of speaking but also gets various tips for improvement with detailed feedback. Since Toastmasters International operates worldwide, one also gets the opportunity to hone their leadership skills by taking up various Leadership roles at various levels.
