Jawa Barat, Indonesia Jun 30, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - PT Titian Karsa Mandiri (TKM) successfully conducted the Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) Auditor Certification Training Program as part of its commitment to strengthening human resource competencies within Indonesia’s palm oil plantation sector.
The training was delivered in two phases, beginning with online sessions held via Zoom on 5–6 June 2026, followed by in-person training from 8–11 June 2026 at Royal Amaroossa Hotel, Bogor. The program brought together participants from various professional backgrounds involved in the implementation, monitoring, and assessment of sustainability standards within the palm oil industry.
Designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of ISPO principles and criteria, the program covered auditing techniques, standard interpretation, and management system implementation to support sustainable plantation practices.
Throughout the training, participants were guided by experienced trainers and industry practitioners with extensive expertise in certification, auditing, and sustainable palm oil governance. In addition to theoretical learning, the program emphasized practical application through case studies, interactive discussions, and audit simulations that closely reflected real-world conditions.
As part of the practice-based learning approach, participants also took part in a field audit simulation at PTPN IV Regional II – Cikasungka Estate, Bogor. This field exercise provided valuable hands-on experience, allowing participants to observe and understand audit processes directly within a plantation operation. Activities included document reviews, field observations, interviews, and verification of ISPO standard implementation.
Through this practical experience, participants gained deeper insights into conformity assessment, identification of potential audit findings, and the development of relevant corrective recommendations.
The training program received positive feedback from participants. One of the attendees, Wahyu, Head of the Plantation Office of Central Kalimantan Province, expressed his appreciation for the comprehensive learning experience provided by PT Titian Karsa Mandiri through the integration of online learning, classroom sessions, and field-based practice.
