In addition to being the past President of the Ohio Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Murphy belongs to the Great Lakes Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Pierre Fauchard Academy (Honorary Dental Society). He has received the Award for Top Dentists several times throughout his career, among other awards.
Outside of the office, he enjoys skiing, hiking, golfing and playing basketball. He is an avid cook who enjoys collecting fine wine and pairing them with gourmet foods. He also supports various local animal shelters, homeless shelters, and food banks.
