Stuttgart, Baden-Wurttemberg Oct 23, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - The Start-Up Paperlegend is reincarnating iconic cars as arty sculptures from metallic paper. These sculptures are available as easy to follow DIY kits, so every petrolhead with an arty side can get creative. The project is merging two controversial subjects: Cars and their environmental impact. For each sculpture, Paperlegend is going to plant a tree, to ensure a circular economy and make up for some of the damage cars have done to our environment.
The Project aims to make car sculptures accessible and affordable. Introducing a new media mix between car model and poster created its own niche.
At the moment Paperlegend is on Kickstarter, offering 5 different Sculptures. Reaching from an Offroader over classic Italian race and rally legend´s, Leman's bolides from the 70's to a formula 1 car. The sculptures are inspired by historic cars but are simplified yet eyecatching. To avoid licensing issues the sculptures are using Synonyms to their forefather´s.
The assembly process is made simple, so everyone can create a piece of art while supporting the environment. The instructions are on the back of the precut and creased parts so that the customer can focus on the build with both hands and eyes. The special metallic paper and the bend shapes give special aesthetics to the sculptures. The colour can be individually chosen. In the future, you can customize your dream car even more with a configurator by choosing from different wheels, rally lights package or a roof rack.
