Fargo, North Dakota Nov 23, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Jesus said in Matthew 9:37-38, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
Author Stephen Sturlaugson brings forth a book based upon this parable, among others, where the relationship between God and His people is more than that of a farmer and his land. The Lord of the Harvest—The Farmer of Humankind is set to become a beacon of hope for those struggling to find their purpose in this world.
The book is a study and spiritual commentary on how God is the farmer of humankind. Stephen Sturlaugson supports his statements by relating verses from the Bible, theories, and nuances exemplifying God's love for His crop. Stephen helps align Christians with their mission to live a life filled with abundance in Christ. It is a testimony to God's mercy, how He nurtures His crop to prepare for the inevitable harvest that is to come (The End of Times.) Stephen's writing style is unique and engaging, a breath of fresh air in the genre.
The Lord of the Harvest—The Farmer of Humankind delves deeply into how the Lord cultivates His people, threshes them, and burns away the stubble and thorns that may harm His harvest. In the complications and uncertainty of life, the book devises a simple and reassuring analogy that is the perfect companion for Christians to lean back and rely on in their spiritual journey.
