The Josie Music Award's first Icon Award Recipient is Musical Legend Tiffany!

The Josie Music Awards Icon Award recipient is released in anticipation of the 10th Annual Award Show Event, which will surely be a special moment you won't want to miss. Tiffany will be awarded during the annual event this year in October.

Nashville, Tennessee Feb 6, 2024 (Issuewire.com)  - The Josie Music Association announces the legendary music sensation Tiffany as the first Josie Music Awards Icon Award recipient.  The addition of the Icon Award was announced early this year as a new category beginning at the Tenth Annual Josie Music Awards Event held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at The Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. The Josie Music Awards is the largest, multi-genre, privately owned independent music award show globally.

The JMA's Icon Award will be presented yearly to someone with exceptional talent and draws people from around the globe because they know who you are and what you do.  They will be a person who breaks musical and social barriers with their voice and image. Their fans will love them because of their interaction and connection with them. Their career will have left a mark on the music industry within a genre, music period, or as a whole.  It is only fitting that Tiffany is the first recipient of this award because she is truly a musical icon.

Tiffany’s life can be measured in songs. Anyone with even a casual eye on pop culture will remember her breakout in the late-’80s, sparked by the transatlantic #1 smash, "I Think We’re Alone Now." But the fans who have made the journey with her since know that the best stuff came later, as the singer fought her way to the music she burned to record, from1993’s restorative Dreams Never Die through the pulsing electro bangers of 2005’s Dust Off And Dance, right up to 2018’s highly acclaimed Pieces Of Me.“It’s an album highlighting an artist at the top of their game,” wrote Get Ready To Rock of the latter, “producing music from the heart.”

Tiffany earned two U.S. number-one hit singles with “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “Could’ve Been,” and set a record as the youngest female artist to top the Billboard charts with her debut album. In 2000, Billboard ranked Tiffany’s album The Color of Silence as the “Top Ten Best Albums of the Year.” In 2011, she released her country-pop LP Rose Tattoo, embracing the music she grew up on. Her 2016 critically acclaimed A Million Miles marked the first time Tiffany had been a co-producer on her own record. As a writer and co-producer on her 10th studio album, Pieces of Me, Tiffany fused elements of rock and pop while still showcasing her trademark tendency for big radio-friendly choruses. Now, she’s ready to bare her soul and invite listeners to walk with her into the light via her 11th studio album, Shadows. She has sold more than 15 million albums to date.

Tiffany has obtained a long and storied career. She released the 2019 version of “I Think We're Alone Now,” and the music video has more than two million views. In the summer, she performed 55 shows in 53 cities for more than 600,000 fans on the North American Mixtape Tour with New Kids on the Block, Debbie Gibson, Salt-N-Pepa, and Naughty By Nature. In the fall, Tiffany kicked off her 40-city, North American Pieces of Me Tour with rave reviews for her new pop/rock sound and live show.

In 2020, Tiffany combined her love of music and food to launch a cooking club - Let's Food with Tiffany. During the pandemic, she also began hosting Takeovers at private events and restaurants around the country featuring a special menu item crafted by Tiffany and an acoustic set. These one-of-a-kind entertainment and culinary experiences led to her launching Rocktail With Tiffany. She also digitally released her EP Pieces of Me: Unplugged and her first original Christmas song, “Angels. In 2021, Tiffany headlined the North American Shadows tour with Johnny Martin and Scot Coogan of L.A. Guns. In 2022, she released the new single “I Like The Rain” and the new album Shadows via Deko Entertainment.

Today, her goal is to continue writing songs for herself and others, cementing her status in the industry as a powerhouse hit maker and go-to songwriter, as well as expanding her entrepreneurial business ventures. In 2023, Tiffany toured with a new, interactive pop/rock musical experience, “Shadows UV Pop Art Show,” featuring songs from the latest album and some of her greatest hits, along with pop art displays. She teamed up with Guitar Foodie Tom Vrem to publish “Breakfast With Tiffany,” breakfasts and brunch recipes inspired by Tiffany's travels and Tom's never-ending quest for foodie bliss. Recently, her company Rocktail with Tiffany partnered with Rob Floyd Entertainment for an exclusive cocktail line of Rocktail boxes. Music and business are the heart of Tiff world.
