About the Author
Dr. Louis McCall has written several fictional works of Christian biography inspired by Biblical history and informed by a lifetime of global experience. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from Northwestern University and later attended the National War College of the National Defense University.
Before embarking on a distinguished 36-year career with the U.S. Department of State, Dr. McCall served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at The Ohio State University. His diplomatic career included roles as Consul General in Florence, Italy; Chargé d’Affaires in Brunei; U.S. Representative to the Republic of San Marino; and Assistant Inspector General. Over the course of his service, he lived in or worked in more than 60 countries across six continents.
Throughout his professional life, Dr. McCall consistently lived out his faith—ministering the Gospel through preaching, music, and collaboration with missionaries, national church leaders, and the underground church. In his final two years at the State Department, he organized and led the National Day of Prayer observances within the Department.
Now in his calling as an author, Dr. McCall enjoys greater freedom to share what God has placed in his heart.
