Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 22, 1996, and being raised in the South Bronx on Courtlandt Ave, Gwappy got his first taste of music from his father at about 4 or 5 years old. Being brought up listening to the likes of New Edition, Michael Jackson & the Jackson 5, The Temptations etc., it Wasn't until 9 yrs old that Gwappy Found Him away to Pop, Hardcore rap and Hip-Hop. Some of his favorites were Lil Wayne, Jay-z, Cameron, Justin Timberlake and Eminem. From melodies to punchlines, he'd sit and listen over and over and over again til he knew the words. Over the years Gwappy would write Poetry and little freestyles for the Kids at his Middle School.
For some time now he's been working With singles on All music Platforms ( Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Spinrilla, GooglePlay, Amazon, YouTube, etc...) and the Releasing of his first Mixtape "NightMares in Melrose". The only question for people now is "Who Is Gwappy Kruger".
