The Bar Association of D.C. Mourns the Loss of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

"I would like to be remembered as someone who used whatever talent she had to do her work to the very best of her ability." ~ Hon. Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Washington, D.C, District of Columbia Sep 21, 2020 (Issuewire.com)  - The Board of Directors, members and affiliates of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia (“BADC”) are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of the Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. “Justice Ginsburg was a brilliant attorney and jurist, who championed access to justice, dignity and respect for all Americans, including gender equality, voting rights and opportunities for women in the legal profession. Her lasting contributions inside and outside the Supreme Court helped make the United States a better and fairer place to live and work. Justice Ginsburg will be sorely missed, but she will never be forgotten,” said Kevin D. Judd, BADC president. We extend our heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathies to Justice Ginsburg’s family, friends, law clerks and all those who loved her around the world.
