Texino® Announces The Atrium and Redefines The Future of Camping Mobility

  • Texino® Announces The Atrium and Redefines The Future of Camping Mobility

Los Angeles, California Apr 13, 2022 (Issuewire.com)  - Texino®, Los Angeles’ premier campervan outfitter, announced today the launch of the Atrium, the newest addition to their luxury campervan fleet. The Atrium is an unprecedented take on the recreational vehicle that offers the modern outdoor community maximized interior living space and a thoughtful reimagining of the camping experience.

“We want to provide a vessel for the extraordinary and the terrific — the home base for total leisure, from the backroads of Baja to the summits of Banff,” says Nick Devane, Founder, and CEO at Texino®. “This is a deep study in departure.”

The Atrium pays homage to the tradition of RV design and vintage aeronautical aesthetics. Simultaneously simple and luxurious, the RV is strikingly novel while harkening to a long heritage of outdoor housing: the Avion C10, the Quonset Hut, and the Airstream.

Its fully glassed-in, geometric viewing cockpit occupies the upper rear quarter, offering observatory-like scenic views. Case windows, along with six side portholes and skylights, seamlessly integrate the outdoors into the interior and allow for abundant natural lighting. The Atrium’s windows are Smartglass™ offering complete and on-demand privacy, and the split door entrance and stairs are on actuators, making an easy statement on the entry or exit.

Texino® started the Atrium project through a desire to enter and transform the Class C RV category. The team, led by Founder and CEO Nick Devane and Design Director Gabriel Wartofsky, undertook a radical rethinking of the future of camping. Carpenters, designers, metalworkers, engineers, machinists, and mechanics all assisted with the concept and fully functioning prototypes. Designed and refined throughout the build process, this camper embodies the old ways of fabrication, animated by the latest technology available.
