Meyer is currently an Assistant District Attorney for Appeals and Writs for Hardin County, as well as counsel to startup, entrepreneurial businesses. He is one of five candidates in the race to be the next Chief Justice of the 9th Court of Appeals, and the only candidate with this distinction. Meyer is also a Registered Patent Attorney and a member of the Texas Bar College. He received his J.D. from American University and by the University of Oxford, England, he was awarded a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL), which is Oxford’s world-renowned taught Master of Laws Program. He also has an M.S. from George Washington University and a B.S in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
