Herman has been nominated for a 2019 Author Academy Award. This is an honor bestowed for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry.
Herman's book is up for an award in the Memoir category giving readers psychological and spiritual insights from her messy relationships including divorce, remarriage, abortion, and bipolar disorder.
