She has been utilising her expertise by providing tutoring services to students across age groups. However, she has a soft spot for teaching and mentoring young and growing children. She has a mission of helping underprivileged and disadvantaged children achieve academic excellence. She tries to come closer to her goals through her persistent efforts in different spheres. This time, she has taken the step of authoring her first book dedicated to young children.
She has expertise in providing customised educational solutions to children and young adults to crack difficult academic topics like SATs, GCSE, EAL, and SEN. Though even during that time she continued with her duties in whichever way possible. During that time, she wrote many education-related articles which got featured in magazines in Jamaica, Gambia, and India and now she is finally out with her first book.
Her journey doesn’t stop here as she is determined to work towards developing a textbook to support children who have fine motor skills barriers. This would help them grasp early numbers, letters, and other writing skills. She is all set to release a book for children living with a disability. She also wants to enter the podcast market by producing educational content for her listeners.
Her current release ‘Jahmalachi All about me’ is inspired by her son Jahmalachi who is just 10 months old. She wrote the book while she was undergoing major pregnancy-related complications. She is an SEN teacher. She has created the book to provide children suffering from social barriers with the confidence to introduce themselves to people and socialise without any fear. The book can also be used in classrooms to help teachers in guiding children on how to talk to people and communicate their emotions effectively. The book is out on e-commerce platforms like Amazon.uk. Don’t forget to check it out.
