The first episode of the series features Stan B. Galperson, PsyD, Director of Residential and Outpatient Programs at TTC, talking with Michael Baptist, a former TTC patient. Michael has five years of successful recovery under his belt and now works as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor.
The episode shows how the specific treatment services available at Tarzana Treatment Centers helped lead Michael from the verge of death to a positive life of ongoing recovery. Indeed, when you hear his story, it is a miracle that Michael is alive. Not only is he in long-term recovery, but Michael now gives back to people going through what he survived. His story reflects how TTC's continuum of care works to save lives.
