Born and raised in Dahod, Gujarat, the talented player has always been interested in sports and started to play cricket and football like a champion even when he was just merely 11 years old. His professional career as a badminton player started in 2017 and in 2022, he played his first international tournament, BWF Maharashtra international challenge 2022, and then Chhattisgarh international challenge 2022. Since he started professionally he had trained at Partho Ganguly badminton academy, Vadodara from where he took his training in Prakash Padukone sports management, Bangalore in 2019. After 2 years there, he went to new vision badminton academy, Dubai in 2022 and currently he is at Akshit Mahajan badminton academy, Zirakpur. All these rigorous training and practice sessions made him achieve the highest world rank of MD:1023. With enormous support from his family and sponsors FZ FORZA and Evocus water, Sameer is set to win wonderful titles in his badminton career ahead.
