Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh Sep 26, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - On this Friday, players of the Knockout Arena of Ghaziabad left their city to participate in the State championship organised by the UPTA. Knockout Fight Club is the academy headed by Harsh Chaudhary who is also a coach of the academy.
The team participated in the 3rd UP North Zone Taekwondo Championship held in Bijnor in which Ghaziabad took two medals in its share. This championship was held on 24th, 25th September at Kanha Palace in Najibabad, Bijnor. Harsh Chaudhary, coach of Knockout Arena, Ghaziabad, participated with his team and won 1 Gold, 1 Bronze medal. The medal winners were named Vrinda Tyagi who won the gold medal in the -63kg category and Pranay Choudhary who won the bronze medal in the -34kg category.
A total of 8 members including the coach participated in the following championship. The name of the following players is Nikhil Kumar, Dishu Singh, Srishti Panchal, Dhruv Chaudhary, Vrinda Tyagi, Pranay Chaudhary, and Kartik Chaudhary headed by the coach Harsh Chaudhary.
The academy was started a year ago to promote taekwondo in the city. And in a short duration of time, the academy performed very well because of the guidance given by the coach. students from abroad who returned to their nation due to covid crisis are learning taekwondo in the Knockout Arena.
