Sweet T Flowers Rebrands, Expands Flower Business to Include Retail Rarities, Workshops and Events

Best of Charlotte Winner – Florist Category -- Relocates to The Mill in Waxhaw, Representing its First Store

Charlotte, North Carolina Feb 6, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - Sweet T Flowers, a Best of Charlotte Award Winner in the Florist Category, has rebranded as Sweet T in order to expand its business to include select retail rarities, workshops, and events.

Sweet T has also relocated to The Mill, located in a turn-of-the-19th century Cotton Mill in Waxhaw, North Carolina and is the development’s first retail establishment.  Sweet T is located next to Emmet’s Social Table, which opened in 2018 to much acclaim and outstanding reviews.

Expert floral designer and entrepreneur Tina Enyart, says the expansion and rebranding is a well-timed leap of faith:"We had not only outgrown our space, we had outgrown flowers as our primary area of business. We love Waxhaw and when the opportunity came up to take the largest retail spot at The Mill, we jumped at the opportunity. We have created more than a store, we have created an experience that you simply cannot find in the Charlotte area. It’s worth the trip to Waxhaw, I’ll bet my sweet name on it."

Sweet T, which has always featured American-grown flowers and recycled vases and plants grown by a local nursery, is taking a deep dive into retail with 2,400 square feet of pleasing space in order to house a plethora of products and gifts, all retained with a meaning behind them, including:

  • Industrial lamps made by a local veteran
  • Responsible products made from recycled or upcycled materials, such as hats made from recycled tent fabric from Greenville, South Carolina
  • A candle company that supports the special needs community by employing them as wickers of their products
  • Jewelry, food products and gifts all hand-made by local artisans in and around the south.

As a responsible corporate citizen since opening her business six years ago, Sweet T donates flowers to Hospice of Union County every week. The business also works with Soul-Tides Ministry, selling bracelets to support girls and women in Belize in the battle against trafficking.

“Nothing comes in or leaves here without having a meaning close to my heart,” continued Ms. Enyart. “I want to be proud of what we do every day and that only happens with the right people, the right selections, world-class attention-to-detail and we have all three.”

Sweet T will offer workshops each month, highlighting local artisans that will accent their individual talents while bringing a fun and eclectic experience to the participants, topped with wine and food. Sweet T, which flew a world-renowned graffiti artist from Florida in to create a 6’ x 20’ mural which simply says LOCAL in order to reemphasize the shops commitment to the community, will also be displaying art from The Waxhaw Arts Council to bring awareness to local artists.

Sweet T, whose shop hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday – Saturday, offers nationwide delivery and is located at 401 E South Main Street, section 126A in Waxhaw, North Carolina, 28173. You can follow Sweet T on social media
