Mr. Francoeur has served on the company's advisory board since 2014 and was instrumental in the negotiations with the Tunisian government in regard to the Tunisian Beni Khedache concession awarded to the company on May 9, 2016. Mr. Francoeur holds a BSc, geology (Concordia University), and brings over 36 years of technical, management experience in the oil and gas industry. He is the founder and president of Serpa Petroleum Consulting Ltd. (1987) in Calgary which provides well site geological consulting services primarily in Western Canada. He is a member of APEGGA and has been a professional geologist since 2004 and is a recognized expert in horizontal well-site geology procedures for conventional and non-conventional reservoirs. His clients have included Canadian Natural Resources (CNRL), Cenovus, ConocoPhillips, EnCana, EOG Canada, NAL Resources and Nexen Inc.
Albert Raponi has resigned as an officer and director of the company with immediate effect in order to focus on his personal business. The company wishes to thank Mr. Raponi for his service.
Dennis Luk, has been appointed interim chief executive officer of the company. Mr. Luk holds a BA, social sciences (University of Ottawa), and has served as a broker and investment banker over the past 25 years.
