Los Angeles, California Aug 20, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - New socks are one of the most requested items at homeless shelters. On Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 6 to 9 p.m., 16:16 Records and The Offbeat bar are hosting a Summer Sock-A-Thon to benefit The Midnight Mission. The show is 21 and over and free to anyone who brings a package of brand-new socks for donation.
The Summer Sock-A-Thon will take place at The Offbeat bar in Highland Park. The event will feature performances by Bonnie Brae, Detroit Diesel Power, and Get Out. The Offbeat has a full bar and there are food trucks and restaurants nearby. The bands will also be selling CDs, t-shirts, and other merchandise at the show.
Date: Saturday, August 28, 2021.
Time: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Location: The Offbeat, 6316 York Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA, 90042.
Cost: Free to get in with a package of brand-new socks for donation.
