Gurgaon, Haryana Mar 28, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - As we gear up for a brand-new academic session, students are getting ready to go back to learning offline again. But what has changed in the post-pandemic era of schooling? A lot, so to say. From the way teaching was imparted to the way we dress and follow hygiene measures - everything has changed. However, the one thing that remains the same is the enthusiasm and willingness of both students and teachers to come back to school.
At Alpine Convent School - the top school in Gurgaon, our young learners, and their teachers are excited to begin the Academic Session 2022-2023 in the school itself. After so many lockdowns, we all had manifested this, and it is finally happening. The students will get to meet their classmates and teachers again. We’re looking forward to establishing normalcy in school life again. The school premises is being thoroughly sanitised before the school staff, faculty, and students begin their year. The pandemic has brought some permanent changes after all, like consciously adapting more hygienic habits. But it anyway should have been the norm and we’re glad that it finally is. Pandemic or not, washing hands, wearing masks when sick, and regularly sanitising our daily objects is important.
The school Chairman, Mr. R.K. Sharma, shares a few words, “With all the necessary precautions in place, we’re looking forward to resuming offline classes at full capacity. Teaching at Alpine Convent School has always been about Excellence in Education, and pandemic or not, we’ll serve exactly that”.
Our young learners are keen to experience school life again. The culture at Alpine Convent School was such that every day consisted of active learning - both in academics and in so-scholastic activities. After a span of two long years, learning will happen outside of the box for the students: not inside a virtual classroom. This gap has generated a better sense of belongingness among the students in the school.
Likewise, it is going to be a new journey for the teachers to transition with the students back into an offline mode of teaching again. We’re sure our teachers will love the interactive and lively atmosphere of live classrooms. Offline learning is also going to be about reconnecting with the school culture of sharing, being more aware and present, and interacting. Learning in an isolated way is seldom helpful for a growing child. Those real-life interactions, discussions, etc. add more value to learning than learning on your own. It also adds to the learner’s skill set of articulating, communicating, and presenting their thoughts and ideas in front of an audience.
And how can we forget extracurricular activities! The school’s sports grounds have never been the same ever since the first lockdown was announced. We’ll finally have students pacing around the ground, playing their favourite sports under the guidance of their coaches. The best school in Gurgaon and North India is nothing without its students, teachers, and support staff. As the new academic sessions dawn, we have our hopes and aspirations set up high.
