District of Columbia, United States Jun 2, 2020 (Issuewire.com)  - 57% of Americans are grieving the loss of someone close to them within the last three years.  According to Amerispeak and WebMD, that means that every other person that you see is grieving!    Author, Vernessa Blackwell, is tackling these statistics one heart at a time through her Grief Helpline curriculum.  Known as the Grief Strategist, she is helping others to confront their grief and loss in a passionate manner.

“The mission of the Grief Helpline is to normalize grief in our 'Get Over It' and 'Move On' society. The vision is to give every child, teenager and adult permission to grieve in his or her own way and time through all different types of losses and transitions,” says Blackwell.  She advocates for grief and loss by providing keynote addresses, presentations and more around the country. Vernessa’s curriculum is also available through her Slay Your Grief Kits.  Her kits are tailored to restore joy after a personal loss.   The kits include her workbooks, devotionals and other neat items to help comfort a grieving person in need.  See the public’s reaction here.

Aside from providing grief strategies to those in need, Vernessa Blackwell is also a published author.  She has shared her personal triumph of being in the U.S. Military in a book collaboration.  Blackwell has also specialized in authoring various other devotionals, journals and even a children’s book.  Her expertise in caring and support is unmatched.  Interested persons may connect with Vernessa by visiting: https://www.griefhelpline.coach/ or emailing her at vernessa@griefhelpline.coach.
