Atlanta, Georgia May 6, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Steppin’ on Ghana Grounds 2026 returns to Ghana with a significantly expanded international footprint, building on the foundation of its inaugural year and evolving into a larger, more immersive cultural and line dance experience. This year’s edition marks a bold acceleration in global participation, strategic partnerships, and curated cultural tourism across Ghana.
Designed as more than an event, Steppin’ on Ghana Grounds is an experience blending country line dance, Southern soul line dance culture, African heritage exploration, live entertainment, and destination immersion. The 2026 edition will be hosted across Accra with exclusive access to Till’s Beach Resort, reserved for participants throughout the duration of October 14–18, offering a fully immersive private experience environment.
This year’s confirmed lineup brings together a powerful mix of international talent and cultural influencers, including:
From Georgia, USA, Host Andre Pope (Kuntry Boi Pope) leads the experience, supported by DJ Big O 601(Mississippi, USA), setting the tone for a high-energy cultural celebration.
The live performance stage features standout Southern Soul artists including Houston County Cowboy, known for hits such as “Stand on That” and “Don Julio”, alongside LadiT, bringing her signature sound to the Ghana stage.
The instructional and workshop experience is strengthened by some recognized names in the line dance community, including Texas-based instructor Tara Bianco who will lead our Country Line Dance segment. Our Southern Soul/Urban workshop instructor will be Clair Hall (Ohio, USA by way of West Virginia). They will be delivering elevated learning and participation experiences for attendees.
The showcase lineup intensifies with confirmed featured performers including Ayden McKenzie, bringing high-energy performance from Georgia, USA, and Jadee #POPPOP — New Zealand’s viral line dance sensation and proud Māori indigenous wahine of Aotearoa. She is bringing her powerhouse team, and unforgettable stage presence to the spotlight. Representing Ghana, four queens from Atinka TV’s Di Asa Season 8 will also join the showcase, bringing vibrant Ghanaian energy, culture, dance, and entertainment to the stage.
Adding a media and storytelling dimension, Anukkah Laquette, host of Never Gave Denied Podcast, joins as official correspondent. She will document arrivals, departures, behind-the-scenes experiences, and will lead the exclusive Red Carpet Experience, providing a narrative bridge between participants, culture, and audience engagement.
Steppin’ on Ghana Grounds 2026 is also strengthening its local and cultural integration through a partnership with Destination Ecotourism Around Ghana, ensuring participants experience Ghana beyond the stage through curated cultural immersion, heritage storytelling, and destination exploration including Cape Coast and surrounding historical corridors.
The 2026 edition reflects a clear evolution: bigger international participation, stronger production value, deeper cultural integration, and expanded strategic partnerships that position the experience as a growing global cultural platform.
With increased attention from international participants, performers, and cultural travelers, Steppin’ on Ghana Grounds 2026 continues to establish itself as a premier destination experience where line dance culture meets African heritage, tourism, and global community exchange.
