For over twenty years, she has taught the medical and surgical treatment of pediatric eye diseases to ophthalmology residents. Dr. Goei has received awards for her excellence in teaching and mentoring medical students and ophthalmology residents at Augusta University.
Continuously advancing excellence in eye care, Dr. Goei is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Pediatric ophthalmology is a subspecialty of ophthalmology concerned with eye diseases, visual development, and vision care in children.
