New Orleans, Louisiana Mar 10, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Son of a Saint and Infinity Aquariums announce plans to include a state-of-the-art aquarium in a new facility for fatherless boys. Son of a Saint exists to transform the lives of fatherless boys through mentorship, emotional support, development of life skills, exposure to constructive experiences, and formation of positive, lasting peer-to-peer relationships.
Son of a Saint’s vision for its headquarters space is to create a safe haven that provides Son of a Saint’s young men stability in the face of uncertainty, as well as a positive environment to house and enhance critical programming.
The newly envisioned and fully renovated headquarters space for the organization began with the purchase of a 12,000 sq. ft. century-old Icehouse in the heart of Mid-City, New Orleans. The site will foster mentoring sessions, individual group therapy, technology labs tutoring, ACT classes and college prep sessions, creative arts exploration, career development training, crisis intervention, enrichment activities, and more.
Nic Tiemens of HGTV notoriety and Joe Pineda, co-founders of Infinity Aquarium Design and their team in Los Angeles, have signed on to volunteer their time to build the aquarium in partnership with Sonny Lee, founder, and CEO of Son of a Saint in New Orleans. They call on the community to help fund building materials. All financial proceeds from this campaign will directly benefit Son of a Saint.
