Singer-Songwriter, Klara Nazzal, releases new EP, EGO LIES

Upcoming singer-songwriter, Klara Nazzal, has announced the release of her new EP, Ego Lies on January 20th, 2021

Los Angeles, California Jan 14, 2021 (Issuewire.com)  - Singer-songwriter Klara Nazzal has announced that she will release her new five-song EP, Ego Lies, on January 20th, 2021. The album will feature soft, deep, and sultry vocals in a subtle shift from her previous work. It is a celebration of her newfound sound, featuring an inimitable mix of dark notes as well as new upbeat riffs and melodies.

Klara Nazzal is an independent artist who creates music that taps into the shadow side of reality and the human mind. She describes Ego Lies as an alternative pop/R&B. “It mixes sweet yet dark sounds, along with outspoken lyrics, to create a meaningful and poignant production,” she says.

The new album offers the same characteristic intensity as Nazzal’s last EP, In The Veins of Azalea, which made her a rising star, but with slightly brighter tones. The decision to publish Ego Lies, she says, placed her in a profoundly vulnerable state, opening up the depths of her psychology for all to see. It is a tour de force that displays her self-confidence “passion towards the true meaning of artistry and music,” she claims.

Klara Nazzal was born on April 9th, 1999 in Warsaw, Poland and has a mixed heritage. Her mother is of German and Polish descent, while her father is Jordanian and Palestinian. For the first eighteen years of her life, she lived in Amman, Jordan, before moving to California for college.

Nazzal credits her talent to her eclectic upbringing and passion for music from an early age. During her formative years, she was always surrounded by other musicians and artists. Her exposure to so many cultures opened her mind to new musical ideas and sounds.

While in Amman, she taught herself both the guitar and piano. She also began singing in musical camps, which eventually led to her performing Declan Galbraith’s Tell Me Why alongside the National Jordanian Symphony Orchestra in front of hundreds of people, including Queen Noor of Jordan.

Once she arrived in California, her musical career continued. As a teenager, she attended Nicholas Cooper’s vocal boot camps and gained more exposure to the music industry. She also continued to network, setting up a site advertising her work and personal story.

Nazzal now publishes her music directly on music platforms and connects with fans via her Instagram pages. Here she publishes samples of her latest music, artwork relating to her EPs, and images that capture her daily life.

Nazzal’s new EP, Ego Lies, is out on January 20th, 2021, and will be available on all popular music streaming platforms.
