siberX is a roaming, customized platform for training, events, and skills development. They have partnered with EC-Council to provide industry-leading certifications to train and test professionals – with a team of multi-disciplinary experts, they will run live simulations and war games to recreate threats, scenarios, and responses faced across industries. Offered for the first time in Canada, STORM is a fully-loaded pen-test platform which comes equipped with a customized distro of Kali loaded onto a portable Raspberry Pi-based touchscreen device. The course content was derived by pulling carefully selected modules from EC-Council’s Certified Network Defender (CND) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification courses.
SiberX and EC-Council are bringing Michael Angelo Vien, one of the most seasoned and sought after Cyber Security experts to deliver this 1-day workshop. Vien has over 24 years of experience in Information Technology including networking, system administration, and development, with a focus on Information Security. Vien has also performed consulting services and training for over 35 US government agencies. In addition, Vien has developed and taught various classes on Information Security for a number of Fortune 500 companies and government employees around the world including members of the US military.
The first STORM workshop in Canada will be run by siberX on September 27th, 2018.
