The staff of Infectious Diseases are dedicated to evaluating and managing many acute, chronic and recurrent infectious diseases. In addition, an on-site social worker helps patients deal with the impact of their diseases. Before embarking on her professional journey, Dr. Peglow graduated with her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2008. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2011, followed by her fellowship in infectious disease at Rush University Medical Center in 2013.
A member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, she is board-certified in infectious disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
